Open-air workshops: drawing the most famous buildings in Barcelona! You don’t need to be talented in order to sketch with me. It will be simple and fun, and you’ll enjoy your picture!
If you are looking for something really original to do in Barcelona and if you like handmade souvenirs, you may get it both at once! Create your own beautiful sketch! For sketching tours we select the architecture landmarks of the sity, some of the most picturesque Barcelona locations. We can visit such landmarks as Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, Catedral de Barcelona, Arc de Triomf, Basilica de la Merce and others. The participants of my sketching tours mostly are people with zero or close to zero drawing skills, but everyone creates nice looking sketch from the first lesson. What is the secret? The secret is in live demonstration, step-by-step instructions, and some tricks and hints explained in the process.
I will help you to concentrate on what is really necessary to make a good landscape sketch. You don’t need any experience or pencils and paper for drawing, just enjoy the process with expert guidance and all materials supplied. It is not only relaxing and fun – you’ll be happy with your end results.
And what about your landscape printed on a postcard? There is an additional option not included in the price of the workshop: printing four postcards for each person from your drawings. If you like it, you’ll get not only your original drawing but also postcards with your sketch on them.
Of course, such postcards win in comparison with traditional tourist souvenirs. They are not only unique, as are unique works of art, but they also carry in themselves your personal creative experience and your personal impressions of the city.
Printed postcards you can mail to friends and relatives. Also, they may be framed and used to decorate the room, they can be a wonderful gift.
One more option for sketching — drawing Barcelona landmarks on postcards right on location in a jolly free-hand style by permanent markers. This technique makes your drawing on postcard long lasting and brite. Absolutely no experience in sketching necessary! My teaching approach is based on a no-fail process that aims to achieve a perfect result for everyone. You’ll enjoy your picture!
All necessary materials for sketching are included in price. We will draw our pictures on postcards with blank side. From back side is printed normal postcard design with a place for a postage stamp, address and message. So, after the workshop you can go to a post office and send it home!
